MINDBill Balance Management
The MINDBill Balance Manager enables service providers to manage simultaneously multiple prepaid services for a single subscriber. The services can be traditional voice, simple data transmission, rich content, video streaming, MMS, gaming, and others. For example, in 2.5G and 3G mobile networks, the subscriber may download a video clip, read an e-mail message and have a phone call, all at the same time, using a single prepaid balance.
MINDBill Rating Engine The MINDBill Rating Engine is a comprehensive, real-time solution that gives service providers the ability to implement an unlimited number of rating schemes and to respond to customer needs quickly. Authentication, Authorization and Accounting (AAA) actions are all handled in real time, enabling the service providers to offer prepaid services, which increase revenues and reduce risks.
The rating module supports setup charges, recurring charges, and usage-based charges. The usage is rated based on the required service billable entities (duration, bytes or events) and the type of session: local, long distance, international and roaming. In addition, discounts, free units and surcharges are applied as defined in the rate plan.
International providers can define rates in different currencies using the multi-currency and multi-time zone functionality.
MINDBill Prepaid Account Management
The MINDBill system keeps track of the usage in real time, reducing the account balance accordingly. When the balance is depleted, the account status automatically changes to suspended and the service is instantly disabled. In order to continue using the service, the customer must recharge their account. Recharging the account can be done using vouchers, credit cards and EFT payment methods.
Subscribers are managed by customer care representatives using the MINDBill CSR web application, and can access to their account information using the MINDBill self-care web application.
Voucher Management – The voucher management module allows the creation and management of vouchers in lots (batches). Each voucher has a face value and expiration dates. The subscriber may use the top-up service to recharge their account by entering the voucher PIN number.
Notifications – Notifications are sent to the subscribers via SMS, USSD or e-mail. Notifications are configured based on the desired event such as: reaching the balance minimal threshold or when there is confirmation for a payment.
Account Hierarchy – By enabling accounts hierarchy, not only large enterprises, but also families can be given a billable structure such as a Single Family Wallet, where, for example, the upper-level account – the parent account – is the billable re-charging entity and the descendants are granted with a partial credit out of it.
MINDBill IVR The MINDBill IVR is an integrated part of the MINDBill solution. The IVR application provides all of the required features for setting up a prepaid solution, including a top-up service. The GUI-based IVR flow creation environment allows customizing the IVR flows according to the service provider request.
