The POS is aimed mostly at the wireless retail market, enabling GSM and TDMA operators to offer their prepaid and postpaid products and services in retail stores and manage the process within our enhanced solutions. POS is fully integrated into the MIND Billing and Customer Care solutions, allowing operators to offer, seamlessly, services and accessories for new and existing customers and even to non-subscribers. POS integrates with external systems such as the credit card clearinghouse, external taxation engine and address validation.

POS includes three modules working together:

Resource Management Module - a comprehensive inventory system that supports the operator’s chain of warehouses as well as their stores. It automates the management and tracking of the equipment sold to subscribers. The solution keeps track and manages the equipment by serial number, status and location, providing the flow management from purchase orders through the reception of the shipped items, distributing the items to the stores and the allocation of the items to the customers. It also supports inventory management functions such as On-hand-counts and catalogue management.

Sales Module - an easy to use cashier station that supports all the service activations, phone and accessory sales through one interface on a single receipt. Sales Module enables all payment methods such as Cash, Check and Credit Card. It provides full control of the cashier devices such as Cash Drawer, Credit Card swipe, Bar Code reader and Ribbon printer. The Sales module interacts with the Resource Management module to show the sales clerk the items available for sale in the store’s warehouse, to assign sold items to customer accounts and to enable flows such as returns and repairs.

Cashier Management Module - a comprehensive store management environment that implements, in coordination with the Sales module, drawer and workstations, assignments to clerks, Open day and Close day procedures, Cash transfers between drawer and safe, as well as a rich set of reports.
